Colts Activate Standeford
Indianapolis Colts09/09/2006 10:28 AM The Indianapolis Star reports WR Brandon Stokley's availability for Sunday's opener against the New York Giants might not be determined until a few hours before kickoff, but the Colts apparently aren't taking any chances. Rather than be caught short-handed at wide receiver if Stokley's sprained left ankle prevents him from playing, the team signed WR John Standeford from the practice squad to the active roster.
