The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the Falcons released defensive end Ray Edwards less than two seasons after he was heralded as a key component of the team’s pass rush. The Falcons signed Edwards as a free agent in July 2011, giving him $11 million in guaranteed salary on a five-year deal. Read more
