Coleman's injured toe examined

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Falcons DT Rod Coleman, the inside anchor on the front line, is having his injured toe examined. "There are doing a scan on Rod Coleman's toe," Falcons HC Jim Mora said Monday. "Just to see what that is. Hopefully, it's nothing serious." Coleman injured the toe against the Giants Sunday, came out of the game in the second half, but later returned. The loss of Coleman would be devastating to the defense, which already has limited use of DE John Abraham (groin) and DE Patrick Kerney (hamstring). With all three out in the second half, the Giants mauled the defensive front on their way to 259 yards rushing, including 152 in the second half. Abraham returned after missing the previous three games. He was limited to 20 plays against the Giants. "The game was good because I got to play," Abraham said. Read more
