Bye couldn’t come soon enough for Ravens

The Baltimore Sun reports starting QB Steve McNair was lost on the Ravens' third series of the game, suffering a medium concussion and a neck sprain. All tests on his head and neck were negative. He was released from Union Memorial Hospital. Although Ravens officials said the team would wait to determine his status for its next game (Oct. 29 at New Orleans), teammates said they expect McNair to be able to make that start. Read more
