Hankton to see more action
Jacksonville Jaguars10/07/2006 9:30 AM The Florida Times-Union reports because of WR Matt Jones' groin injury, fourth-year WR Cortez Hankton can expect to see more action this week against the Jets. In 36 games, Hankton has caught 29 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns. "With any week, regardless if I expect to play or not play, I try to prepare the same," Hankton said. "So when I do get the opportunity to play, I'll be ready. That's what it's all about, preparation and just knowing what to do so you can go out there and play fast." Through training camp and the preseason, Hankton impressed with sure hands and a knack for getting open, which gives the Jaguars confidence about plugging him into the lineup. Read more
