ClevelandBrowns.com reports KR Joshua Cribbs was named AFC Special Teams Player-of-the-Week, the NFL announced this morning.  Cribbs contributed to the Browns 24-21 win at Oakland last Sunday with two kickoff returns for 118 yards (59.0 avg.), as each return helped the Browns gain valuable field position and sparked the offense. In the 2nd quarter, Cribbs had a 65-yard kickoff return down to the Oakland 32-yard line, and seven plays later K Phil Dawson converted a 28-yard field goal to cut the Oakland lead, 14-3.  Also in the 2nd quarter, Cribbs added a 53-yard kickoff return to the Oakland 43-yard line, and seven plays later QB Charlie Frye connected with TE Darnell Dinkins on a three-yard TD pass to cut the Oakland lead, 21-10. Cribbs, 6-1 and 192 lbs., currently ranks fifth in the NFL with a 27.8 kickoff return average.  Cribbs, a two-year NFL veteran out of Kent State, has totaled 14 kickoff returns this year for 389 yards (27.8 avg.).
