Pats hope to lean on ground game

The Boston Herald reports the explosive Bengals offense has been a major topic of discussion this week in Foxboro, but scant attention has been paid to perhaps the Patriots’ most effective weapon against Cincinnati - their ground attack. The Pats ran all over the Bills and Jets in their first two games before hitting a wall against the Broncos. They were held to 50 yards on 21 carries last week and saw their season average dip from 165 yards per game to 126.7. The running backs should be front and center this week, however, against a Bengals defense with some holes to exploit. Read more
