It was all cheers in the Arizona Cardinals locker room after their 35-27 win over the struggling Cincinnati Bengals. The Cardinals offense ate the Bengals defense up with short underneath passes and four Carson Palmer interceptions, two of which was returned for touchdowns by CB Antrel Rolle, who had three picks in the game, helped seal the deal for the victory.

No love for Cincy

In the Cards' locker room, no player was happier than K Neil Rackers a former Bengal. When asked how he felt about being back in Cincinnati playing against his old team it was no holds barred for the kicker.

"I'll be totally honest with you it feels good leaving here with a win. I'm glad to be leaving here again," Rackers said. "I'm just not a big fan of Cincinnati. My time here was not wonderful and the fans had the same things to say that I expected them to and I'm ready to go again."

Rackers said the win was definitely sweet revenge for him.

Bengals not quitting

Say what you will about the game but the Bengals never quit nor do they have plans to quit.

Despite all the turnovers on offense they were in the game to the very end. Bengals LB Rashad Jeanty assured me that the team is not ready to pack it up just yet.

"We have to continue to work hard and believe in each other," the linebacker said. "The best thing we can look for is being 9-7. That's the cards that we have been dealt and we just have to go at it. It was a tough loss and next week we have to play better. We have to play hard and finish the season strong."

If not for luck and some no calls by the refs this could have easily been a Bengals victory. The Cards had some unnatural things go their way like when QB Kurt Warner completed two Magic Johnson no-look passes which kept a couple of drives alive ending in scores.

A critical no-call in the second quarter also helped the Cardinals' cause. WR Larry Fitzgerald got away with an obvious push off for a reception, giving Arizona a much-needed first down. The play set up a Warner AT&T long distant connection to WR Anquan Bolden for a 44-yard touchdown. Bolden beat S Dexter Jackson on the coverage.

Jeanty said it's frustrating because they have a good team and that they just need some things to go their way. Starting next week when the Tennessee Titans come to town. Stay tuned!
