Doss out for the season

The Indianapolis Star reports S Mike Doss, who played some of his best football when the Indianapolis Colts most needed it, will undergo reconstructive knee surgery and miss the remainder of the season. Results of a magnetic resonance imaging test Monday revealed a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered Sunday during the fourth quarter of the Colts' 36-22 victory over the Washington Redskins. Doss, a second-round draft pick for the Colts in 2003, started the past four games while S Bob Sanders was recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery. Read more
