Mora remains in Webster's corner
Atlanta Falcons10/24/2006 8:20 AM The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the day after a thrilling 41-38 overtime victory over Pittsburgh, the Falcons began shuffling personnel for Sunday's game at Cincinnati. CB Jason Webster won't be among the changes. Falcons HC Jim Mora, who brought Webster with him from San Francisco three seasons ago and has been a steadfast supporter of the oft-injured cornerback, said Webster would not be replaced. Although the Steelers frequently threw Webster's way with success (418 passing yards overall), Mora said Webster has been solid all season and did not receive the designed support from safeties throughout Sunday's game. "There's no move going to be made there," Mora said. "He had a little bit of a rough outing [Sunday], but he wasn't the only one back there that had a rough outing. On a couple of those throws there was supposed to be a guy over the middle helping him and the guy wasn't there." Read more
