Chad toning down the trash talk
Cincinnati Bengals10/20/2006 9:16 AM The Dayton Daily News reports Bengals WR Chad Johnson is strangely quiet these days. Twenty-four catches for 300 yards (a 12.5-yard-per-catch average) and one touchdown sure has a way of toning down a trash-talker. "I can't be the aggressor with this right here," said Johnson, pointing to his mouth, "when my approach and my game play is not aggressive at all. It's not matching up. "Last year, I could be aggressive because I knew, when I got up on Sunday, we were going to be the aggressive opponent. But right now, I can't take an aggressive approach and then go out there and be a sitting duck and a decoration." Read more
