Sanders ready
Indianapolis Colts01/10/2007 8:19 AM The Indianapolis Star reports Tuesday was a rare day for S Bob Sanders. It marked the first time since September the veteran safety was able to participate in the first practice of a week after playing in a game the previous weekend. Sanders underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee in September. He played in only two of the final 14 regular-season games and practiced sparingly. Sanders handled consecutive practices last week, then had three tackles and an interception against the Chiefs. "The plan is to go in and continue to practice,'' he said. "(I'll) just listen to my knee. If it starts to bother me a little bit, maybe take a day off here and there. "But I'm going to try to go as much as I can and continue to get reps and try to get better.'' Read more
