Louisville coach to lead Falcons
Atlanta Falcons01/08/2007 10:10 AM The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the Atlanta Falcons will name Bobby Petrino of the University of Louisville as their new head coach Monday, the team announced Sunday night. "Bobby Petrino is an extremely talented football coach who has done some tremendously innovative things as both an offensive coordinator and head coach, and he brings to us a record of success at the collegiate and professional levels," Falcons owner Arthur Blank said in a statement released by the team. "There is no question that he has a sharp mind, he is demanding and disciplined, and he is a motivator and developer of players.
