Drew finishes tied for second in voting
Jacksonville Jaguars01/04/2007 12:18 PM The Florida Times-Union reports RB Maurice Jones-Drew shredded NFL defenses this year, but he was stopped cold by the QB Vince Young hype machine. The Jaguars' second-round draft choice finished in a tie for second Wednesday with New Orleans WR Marques Colston in voting for The Associated Press offensive rookie of the year. Both were a distant second to Young, who won the award with the votes of 23 of the 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league and formed the selection panel. Read more
