Pollack has surgery on neck fracture
Cincinnati Bengals01/04/2007 9:52 AM The Dayton Daily News reports Bengals LB David Pollack underwent surgery here Wednesday to repair the neck fracture he suffered on Sept. 17. In a statement released by the club, Dr. Anthony Guanciale, a spine specialist who performed the procedure, said the operation "went without complications," and that Pollack is resting comfortably. To protect Pollack's privacy, the team didn't reveal the hospital where the surgery took place, but the club said Pollack's hospital stay "is not expected to last more than a few days." Read more
