Saban's decision on Alabama offer expected today
Miami Dolphins01/02/2007 8:57 AM The Palm Beach Post reports the Dolphins likely will know today whether HC Nick Saban will remain the club's head coach or leave less than halfway through his contract to coach the University of Alabama. According to two sources, the Crimson Tide on Monday made Saban an offer through his agent, Jimmy Sexton. The escalating contract, for seven to 10 years, would be worth approximately $40 million in guaranteed money, making Saban, 55, the highest-paid coach in college football. Read more
