Dropping the drops

The Seattle Times reports when Seattle HC Mike Holmgren went looking for Deion Branch after last Sunday's game, the wide receiver had already left the locker room. Branch wanted out of Qwest Field, the quicker the better, so he could forget about his four dropped passes in the 20-17 loss to San Diego. Then came the process of trying to move on. Branch was finally able to do that for good Wednesday when the team practiced for the first time this week following the Christmas holiday. "It'll never go away until the next game," Branch said. "You'll always have another game. I'm over it. I just want to go out and help my team. That's what I was brought here for, to help my team win a game, not to contribute to a loss." Read more
