Williams to start at CB for Falcons

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports with the Falcons' season in the balance, CB Jimmy Williams is getting his chance. The team's top draft choice has bided his time, gone through the trials of a rookie season and had his playing time limited by an ankle sprain. For Sunday's regular-season home finale against Carolina wide receivers Steve Smith and Keyshawn Johnson, Williams has been named the starting right cornerback. He will replace Allen Rossum, who has started or played most of the snaps at right cornerback the past month and will remain as the nickel back in five-man coverages. Read more
