Detroit Lions12/18/2006 10:04 AM The Detroit Free Press reports in two plays Sunday, WR Mike Williams doubled his season receptions total. He caught a 21-yarder and an 11-yarder on back-to-back plays at the end of the third quarter, after catching only one pass for seven yards in the Lions' first 13 games. Williams would have had two receptions in the fourth quarter, too -- a nine-yarder and a 10-yarder. But the nine-yarder was wiped out by a defensive pass interference call, so he finished with three catches for 42 yards in the Lions' 17-9 loss to the Packers. Read more
