Anderson: Starting vs. Steelers would be 'pretty cool'

The Dayton Daily News reports if Browns QB Derek Anderson makes his first NFL start Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he won't have big shoes to fill. Other than his own, of course. Anderson, who grew up in Portland, Ore., wore size-17 shoes and stood 6-foot-6 in the eighth grade. His feet were so big, his parents had to order footwear from the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers. "I've always been the biggest guy," Anderson said. "I was a little lighter back then. It really wasn't that big a deal. I was a basketball guy." Read more
