Rookie RB DeAngelo Williams had the best all-around performance of his season in the 27-24 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Williams led the Panthers in rushing (74 yards on 17 carries) and receiving (seven catches for 101 yards and a touchdown.). With five plays that gained double-digit yardage, he was Carolina's most consistent offensive spark on a night when WR Steve Smith was held to 54 yards and starting RB DeShaun Foster was out for the second straight week with an injured elbow.
