Sanders poised to return
Indianapolis Colts12/02/2006 9:59 AM The Indianapolis Star reports if things go according to plan, and they haven't most of the season, Bob Sanders will start at safety alongside Marlin Jackson on Sunday, when the Indianapolis Colts can clinch the AFC South championship with a victory at Tennessee. "Best I've felt since before I got hurt," Sanders said after practice Friday. "I'm ready. I'm good. My body feels good. I'm excited. I was real encouraged going out today and feeling the way I felt." Sanders has played only one of the past nine games while recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. He has been missed. Sanders is a Pro Bowl player whose speed and hitting energize the entire defense. Read more
