Webster's injury woes grow
Atlanta Falcons11/30/2006 8:49 AM The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Falcons HC Jim Mora said CB Jason Webster, who has been out with a torn groin, also has a sports hernia. DE John Abraham and DT Grady Jackson were held out of practice Wednesday, but are expected to return today. "We're in better shape than we've been in a long time," Mora said. In other news, CB Derrick Johnson (broken arm) was placed on injured reserved and S Nick Turnbull was signed to the roster. The Falcons cut FB Kevin Dudley and re-signed S Cam Newton to the practice squad. CB Kevin Hobbs also was added to the practice squad. Read more
