McNabb out for season
Philadelphia Eagles11/20/2006 1:04 PM The Trenton Times reports the Titans ended the season of QB Donovan McNabb in what may prove to be the final nail in a coffin the Giants began constructing for the Birds back on Sept. 17. McNabb, 30, was taken to Thomas Jefferson Hospital after shredding the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee on a seemingly innocent push by Titans DE Kyle Vanden Bosch two plays into the second quarter. The eight-year veteran of five Pro Bowls will have surgery when the swelling subsides and still is likely to be in recovery mode when the team begins training camp at Lehigh University next July.
