Barber has nose for end zone
Dallas Cowboys11/15/2006 8:24 AM The Star-Telegram reports backup RB Marion Barber out rushed starter Julius Jones for the first time this season, as he carried the running game in the second half. Barber finished with 65 yards on 14 carries and his team-leading seventh touchdown of the season on a 5-yard run in the fourth quarter. Jones had 45 yards on 15 carries. Barber carried the bulk of the work with 11 second-half carries for 48 yards. "I think Marion's a kid [who] once you get him going, he's good to go," HC Bill Parcells said. "You've got to get him going. He's got a very good nose for the goal line. He's a really aggressive runner near the goal line. That's very positive." Read more
