The impact of its blows has been weakened by the season-ending loss of one of its hardest hitters. DE Patrick Kerney, the emotional beacon and sacks leader, will have surgery to repair a ruptured right pectoral muscle injury suffered in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Cleveland Browns, according to coach Jim Mora.
