NFL fines Hall $5,000 for hit on Detroit QB
Atlanta Falcons11/11/2006 7:56 AM The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Falcons CB DeAngelo Hall was fined $5,000 by the NFL for striking Detroit Lions QB Jon Kitna in the head in Atlanta's 30-14 loss Sunday. A personal-foul penalty was called after Kitna slid feet first to the ground at the end of a 17-yard run. Following Hall's hands-to-the-head blow, a brief skirmish broke out but was quickly broken up. Read more
