Simmons says selfish players hurting team
Cincinnati Bengals11/09/2006 8:08 AM The Dayton Daily News reports Bengals LB Brian Simmons agreed with QB Chris Palmer's assessment that some players need to mature. Only Simmons words were stronger. "I think we have some guys who have their own agenda, and when you try to do something team-oriented, I think that's a detriment," Simmons said. "We've got some guys more concerned about their well-being than the well-being of the team, and that's not a good thing. "Everybody's got an agenda, but it can't be a selfish one, and I think we've got a lot of selfishness going on." Read more
