Woodson's play at safety makes impression

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports judging from the reaction of the Green Bay Packers' coaches, CB Charles Woodson will be playing safety for a while. Woodson made his debut there Sunday in the 35-31 loss to Carolina, filling in for starter Atari Bigby and backup Aaron Rouse, who were both out with ankle injuries. The move allowed the club to insert nickel cornerback Tramon Williams into a starting position and get what it considers its four best available defensive backs on the field. Read more
