Brackett's long-term status uncertain

The Indianapolis Star reports Colts coach Tony Dungy couldn't provide an update Monday on the status of middle linebacker Gary Brackett's right lower leg, but the coach offered a short-term prognosis. "Given the fact that he had to go get X-rays, I'd say he's very highly doubtful for this week," Dungy said of Cincinnati's visit to Lucas Oil Stadium. Dungy added that his early guess on defensive tackle Keyunta Dawson is that he will miss a couple of weeks with a pulled hamstring. Both players were injured during the second quarter Sunday, when the Colts won 10-6 at Cleveland. Both are at critical positions. Read more
