Williams among elite

After gaining 100 yards for the fourth consecutive game, he ranks sixth in the league in rushing with 883 yards on 172 carries. Among the top 35 rushers, his 5.1 yards-per-carry average is second only to Brandon Jacobs (5.4) of the New York Giants. Williams is 117 yards from becoming the third 1,000-yard rusher in the Panthers' 14-year history. If he hits the mark, he'll become the team's first draft pick to do so. Read more
