Tony Romo says grip, Dallas Cowboys will be strong, better

The Star-Telegram reports QB Tony Romo doesn’t want to be cast as a super hero who is going to come back and save the Dallas Cowboys’ season. After all, he is just one piece of the puzzle. But after missing the past three games with a broken right pinkie, Romo threw and took snaps in practice Wednesday and his return beginning with the Nov. 16 game against Washington is the basis for any hopes the Cowboys have of salvaging their playoff hopes. Romo was injured in an Oct. 12 loss to Arizona and tried to play the next week against the St. Louis Rams before realizing in pregame warm-ups that he couldn’t grip the ball. Read more
