Vikings send injured DE James to Redskins for conditional pick
Minnesota Vikings05/28/2008 7:25 AM ESPN’s John Clayton reports on Friday, the Minnesota Vikings informed Erasmus James that they planned to release him. James was an injured defensive end without a home. Now, he's a member of the Washington Redskins. Redskins executive vice president Vinny Cerato called Vikings coach Brad Childress Tuesday and convinced him to trade James instead of releasing him.
