Lions move Bailey to outside LB
Detroit Lions11/02/2006 9:35 AM The Detroit Free Press reports early in training camp, Lions HC Rod Marinelli said Boss Bailey was the prototypical middle linebacker for the defensive system he brought from Tampa Bay. Lean and swift at 6-feet-3, 235 pounds, Bailey could run well enough to take away the middle of the field or make a play on either sideline. Bailey called moving from the outside to the middle "my dream." He said he "always envied the middle guys" because they got "the best of both worlds." Read more
