Vikings are slow to sign 2007 free agents
Minnesota Vikings11/02/2006 8:13 AM The Pioneer Press reports after proactively signing left OT Bryant McKinnie to a long-term contract in September, the Vikings have been relatively hands-off with several other 2007 free agents, notably linebackers E.J. Henderson and Napoleon Harris. But if the Vikings want to make a move, they should act quickly. With $4 million in room, the Vikings have until Monday afternoon to increase a player's 2006 salary to count against this year's cap.
