Ex-Bengals sound off on Chad
Cincinnati Bengals04/24/2008 8:10 AM The Dayton Daily News reports Bengals WR Chad Johnson has demanded a trade, but the Bengals aren't giving in. They rejected the Washington Redskins' offer of a first-round draft choice this year and a third-rounder in 2009 that could turn into a No. 1 pick if Johnson reaches certain performance levels. Johnson has four years remaining on a six-year, $35.5 million deal he signed in 2006, which included a $10.75 million bonus. His remaining base salaries are $3 million (2008), $4.5 million (2009), $5 million (2010) and $6 million (2011). "If Chad doesn't want to be here, man, let him go.
