Dolphins fullback faces battery charge
Miami Dolphins04/12/2008 9:22 AM The Palm Beach Post reports police arrested Dolphins FB Reagan Mauia in Weston early Friday after he allegedly knocked another man unconscious and fled. Mauia, 23, faces simple battery charges in the 12:40 a.m. incident outside the Carolina Ale House, according to a Broward County Sheriff's report. Mauia was booked into jail and later released on $1,000 bond. According to witnesses, the victim, Michael Gianatassio of Weston, 27, and his girlfriend made eye contact with Mauia as they walked past him. Mauia asked Gianatassio what he was looking at, and Gianatassio replied he wasn't looking at anyone, according to the report. Read more
