Faulk explains incident that led to citation for possession

AP reports speaking for the first time since being cited for marijuana possession early this offseason, Patriots RB Kevin Faulk said the drug was discovered in a jacket he was wearing at the time that was not his. In an interview with The Boston Globe, Faulk, one of New England's seven captains last season, said the marijuana was not his and he did not smoke it. He passed a drug test in February a few days after he was cited while going to a Lil' Wayne concert in Louisiana. "The only comment I have on it is that I take total responsibility for what happened to me," Faulk said, according to Boston media reports. "I knew there were going to be a lot of questions as to why I didn't comment on it, but I was always taught actions speak louder than words, so my reaction was to just go and take a drug test."
