Seattle wide receiver to visit Panthers
Carolina Panthers03/12/2008 4:29 PM The Charlotte Observer reports the Panthers will receive a visit from Seattle free agent WR D.J. Hackett Friday, a league source said today. "His goal is to play for a playoff contender and he thinks the Panthers will be that with their quarterback (Jake Delhomme) healthy again," the source said. "And he really thinks Charlotte is a nice area." Hackett is visiting Washington today and will also visit Tampa Bay. Read more
