Gaffney re-signs with Patriots
New England Patriots03/05/2008 5:50 PM AP reports the New England Patriots re-signed veteran WR Jabar Gaffney on Wednesday. The 27-year-old Gaffney played four seasons with the Houston Texans before he signed with the Patriots as a free agent in October 2006. Last season, he played in 16 games with seven starts and caught 36 passes for 449 yards and a career-high five touchdowns. In his career, he has caught 218 passes for 2,600 yards and 13 touchdowns.
