Lions deal Rogers to Cleveland after Cincy trade falls apart
Detroit Lions03/01/2008 9:37 AM The Detroit Free Press reports Big Baby was the big news Friday as the Lions traded DT Shaun Rogers to Cincinnati -- and then to Cleveland. The Lions had a deal with the Bengals for third- and fifth-round draft picks. They confirmed it. The Bengals didn't, though their official Web site reported it, as did numerous media outlets. But the trade did not go through -- why it didn't remains unclear -- and the Lions reached a deal with Cleveland for a third-round pick and CB Leigh Bodden, a source said. Read more
