Dolphins looking for veteran QB

The Palm Beach Post reports the Miami Dolphins will begin their search for a veteran quarterback as soon as possible. Hours after the free-agency period began at 12:01 a.m., the Dolphins invited Oakland QB Josh McCown in for a visit, an NFL source confirmed. McCown, 28, has started 31 NFL games in six seasons, including his first four in Arizona. Last season, McCown started nine games for the Raiders, sharing time with ex-Dolphin Daunte Culpepper while the team groomed No. 1 pick JaMarcus Russell. McCown, listed at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, finished with 10 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions. Read more
