Bengals tender QB Fitzpatrick
Cincinnati Bengals02/28/2008 7:45 PM The Cincinnati Bengals today announced that the team has made a tender offer to QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, making him a restricted free agent. Fitzpatrick is classified a fourth-year NFL player in 2008. By making the tender, the Bengals gain the right to retain Fitzpatrick by matching any offer sheet he would sign from another team. Fitzpatrick could also remain with the Bengals by signing the tender offer, or by negotiating a longer-term contract with Cincinnati. Read more
