Pacman Jones' appeal denied by NFL
Tennessee Titans12/21/2007 1:00 PM The Nashville Tennessean reports NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell put any hope of CB Pacman Jones returning to the Titans this season to rest on Thursday. Less than a week after hearing an appeal from the NFL Players Association on behalf of the cornerback, Goodell informed Jones his season-long suspension stands. The commissioner again left the door open for a return to the NFL next season. The Titans, who have Jones under contract through the 2010 season, declined to comment on Thursday's ruling. "Pardon my naivety, but I expect him to be a Titan until I hear otherwise,'' said Manny Arora, the player's attorney. "If they don't want him back, that is a business decision they make.
