Bruce adds to legacy by having a big night

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports if Thursday was WR Isaac Bruce’s final home game as a Ram, he went out in style. With an 8-yard catch with 9 minutes, 53 seconds remaining in the second quarter, Bruce passed Hall of Famer James Lofton for third-place on the NFL’s career list for reception yards. Lofton had 14,004 yards. After catching seven passes for 87 yards against Pittsburgh, Bruce has 14,070 yards. “I’m very grateful,” Bruce said following the Rams’ 41-24 loss. “I thank God for it. He’s been with me through this long run. I thank every quarterback that I’ve played with in this league, especially Marc Bulger, who made it happen for me (Thursday). Read more
