Taylor selected to Pro Bowl

The Palm Beach Post reports Miami Dolphins DE Jason Taylor was named to the Pro Bowl for the sixth time, this year as a reserve, despite an inconsistent season for a 1-13 team. This year was not one of Taylor's better seasons. He had six games with three or fewer tackles and seven games without a sack. But Taylor still has 10 sacks, including two in Sunday's win against Baltimore, and four forced fumbles. He returned an interception 36 yards for a touchdown against New England to set the NFL record for most touchdowns (eight) by a defensive lineman. Taylor was the only player from Florida's three NFL teams to be selected; NFC South champion Tampa Bay and AFC wild-card leader Jacksonville were both shut out, as were the New York Jets, Atlanta, Carolina, Detroit and New Orleans.
