Injuries to Winfield, Rice mar victory
Minnesota Vikings12/18/2007 8:23 AM The Pioneer Press reports the Vikings have paid a steep price in Monday night's defeat of the Chicago Bears. Vikings WR Sidney Rice and CB Antoine Winfield didn't complete the game and could be sidelined with serious injuries. Officially, coach Brad Childress said Winfield has a left shoulder injury and Rice an ankle sprain. But early indications are that Rice may have fractured a bone and Winfield may have torn a ligament in his shoulder. Read more
