12/14/2007 8:22 AM The Akron Beacon Journal reports Cleveland Browns quarterback Derek Anderson did more than listen when he heard of the devastating floods near his hometown of Scappoose, Ore., last week. Anderson contacted his representative at Nike and persuaded the shoe and apparel giant to donate $50,000 worth of clothing to the victims. "I talked to one of my coaches back home; he said the food banks were trying to do stuff," Anderson said. "I'm just trying to help out a little bit." Read more
