Green Bay Packers 12/05/2007 12:43 PMThe Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports QB Brett Favre missed practice Tuesday, but his absence had nothing to do with the elbow and shoulder injuries he suffered in the Green Bay Packers' loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Favre was in New York to pick up his Sports Illustrated magazine Sportsman of the Year Award. He'll return to practice today or Thursday. "The medical staff would like to hold him until Thursday; Brett would like to practice (today)," coach Mike McCarthy said. "I'll see how he feels in the morning. I'll make that call.
