Division title is within reach for Steelers

The Post-Gazette reports the Steelers can clinch the AFC North Division championship Sunday. In order to do so, the Steelers would have to pull off an upset victory in New England, where the Patriots are 14-point favorites. Also, Cleveland would have to lose at the New York Jets, where the Browns are 3.5-point favorites. If those two unexpected results happen, the Steelers would be 10-3 and the Browns 7-6 with three games left. The best Cleveland could do after that would be a tie at 10-6 and the Steelers would win that first tiebreaker because they swept the Browns this season. The Steelers also could clinch a playoff berth, but not yet the division title, if they win and Tennessee loses. Read more
